When you want to convert an MOV video file into a Flash video, there are three video formats that are involved in the making. That’s confusing for video compression beginners who just want to convert a QuickTime movie into Flash. This conversion also involves re-encoding video, so you need a bit of knowledge about video compression. Video codec, frame rate, keyframe, bitrate… These are some of the terms that you can’t avoid in video compression.\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8<\/p>\n

This VTC answers all these basic answers for video compression starters who just want to know a quick way of converting an MOV file into Flash video (SWF). We start with how to configure ‘Flash Video Encoder’ and explain some basic video compression questions. Then we show quickly how to make SWF video with an FLV (no audio).
