There are several other applications that you can use to edit movies, but Final Cut Pro is truly THE application in the field of video editing.

As the name suggests, Final Cut Pro is an application that only professionals are fully able to see its true beauty. No other application except a few is more difficult to master than Final Cut Pro.

This Final Cut Pro video tutorial is only for beginners. It’s by no means the ultimate solution to your mastering Final Cut Pro. This 20 minute tutorial will only give you an overview of how Final Cut Pro works. So don’t have high expectations. On the other hand, there are many VTCs available for Final Cut Pro. And purchasing one of them is likely to take you nowhere because they only explain basic functions and don’t show you a thing beyond your knowledge. In this sense, this concise video tutorial is more practical.

The overall objective of this video tutorial is to revise a movie trailer in a personal way and to export the final work in QuickTime format. We first extract an audio track from a movie trailer and render it so that Final Cut Pro can read it. We then import both the movie track and the revised audio track to Final Cut Pro.

Making movies involve more than just a video editing application. We use Adobe Fireworks to create images, which we use on Final Cut Pro. We also use an audio editing application that allows us to convert audio into a format that Final Cut Pro can read.

The version of Final Cut Pro used on these VTCs is 5.0.4.

The versions of these VTCs are both 1.0

Lengths: 7 minutes 40 seconds and 13 minutes 11 seconds, respectively

Video format: QuickTime

Video compression: H.264

Pixel size: 720 x 540

Audio: None

These VTCs are only available to members.

Video Tutorial 1

Video Tutorial 2

Please read Terms of Use for Guests before watching any of the video tutorials.

Click on the button to watch a sample.

Final Cut Pro is a product of Apple computer, Inc.

Final Cut Pro… It was once developed by Macromedia and then brought to Apple.
