They have sent out an e-mail message requesting recipients to click on a link.  But this is a rather bizarre message as the first hyperlink isn&#8217;t actually a clickable one.  It&#8217;s part of a gif image.  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mac\/branch_banking_and_trust\/branch_banking_and_trust.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"mac\/branch_banking_and_trust\/branch_banking_and_trust.gif\" width=169 height=\"164\" alt=\"spam blocker\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you take a close look at the source code, it&#8217;s more bizarre.  The body of the message says, &#8220;Hacks just want to have fun.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mac\/branch_banking_and_trust\/branch_banking_and_trust_source.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"mac\/branch_banking_and_trust\/branch_banking_and_trust_source.gif\" width=202 height=\"136\" alt=\"spam blocker\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In fact, BB&#038;T website (https:\/\/online.bbandt.com\/) confirms this suspicion and says that the message must be a fake one.  This phishing message must be sent out by a group of idiots who just entered the phishing business.  Our messages to these yellow cowards are<\/p>\n<li> Get a real job.<\/li>\n<li> Get a high school diploma.<\/li>\n<li> Don&#8217;t do anything to make your parents cry.<\/li>\n<p><a href=\"mac\/branch_banking_and_trust\/bbt_online.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"mac\/branch_banking_and_trust\/bbt_online.gif\" width=198 height=\"117\" alt=\"spam blocker\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A cyber coward group is in pursuit of Branch Banking and Trust customers.
