\nTOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – September of 2018 was a horrible month. It was entirely cloudy almost every day. It rained a lot. We are now in October. So far, we’ve been having pleasant days. Anyway, if you want to use your iOS<\/strong> device as a direction navigator, try Driving Routes<\/strong>. Yup, that’s my next submission to Apple<\/strong>‘s App Store<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Driving Routes is a mobile app for iPhone and iPad that lets you use your iOS device as a GPS navigator on the road. When you select a destination on the road, the app will draw a route to it on the map. If you make the Sign instructions in-app purchase, the app will display a green sign at the bottom showing you the direction and remaining distance to the next section as you drive. Furthermore, if you make the Voice instructions in-app purchase, the app will give you a route direction near each section in voice (text-to-speech).

        This app uses your GPS positions temporarily when you select a driving destination so that it can show your current location on the map. When you navigate out of the Driving screen, it will be lost. So location data will not be saved in a file. Furthermore, your location data will not be shared with a third party in any form possible.<\/p>\n

        This app does not collect your personal information. It does use your device name (Settings > General > About > Name) when you make an in-app purchase so that it can create a receipt. Your device name will be used to anthenticate your in-app purchases every time you use this app. The device name will not be shared with a third party in any form.<\/p>\n

        If you do not wish this app to access your location data, then, open Settings. Navigate towards the bottom and find the name of this app. Tap app’s name. And tap Location. Finally select Never.
