Ltd. has released a new version of QuickTime component, 3ivx MPEG-4 5.0.  According to the company, this MPEG-4-based QuickTime component is available for Linux, Mac and Windows (Vista-compatible) operating systems.  This new version supports such MPEG-4 features as B-frames, Global Motion Compensation (GMC) and Quarter Pixel as well as customized quantization matrices, according to 3ivx Technologies.    <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As for the Mac version, the installation of 3ivx MPEG-4 5.0 will remove 3ivx D4 4.5.1 if you have it.  The new version is available in Universal Binaries.
