\nLast week, my wife and I had a little household dispute. As a result, she took her dog and went back to her home town in Kansas. I was totally upset, staying in an empty house by myself. I decided to work on one of the bathrooms, replacing floor tiles. Hopefully, she will realize how reliable I am as the home improvement guy of the household. I started out okay, but I gradually got tired. I started to think that there was perhaps an easier way of replacing bathroom tiles. Hmm… Oh, yes, Adobe Photoshop! So I went to my work room, starting up my iMac and launching Photoshop CS2. In a matter of 3 minutes or so, I replaced floor tiles in the bathroom. <\/p>\n

It’s been several days since she left. So the question is when is she coming back? Or is she ever coming back?<\/p>\n

The following tutorial shows steps to design floor tiles, using Adobe Photoshop CS2. The photo image used in this tutorial comes from Webshots<\/a>.

<\/br><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. At first, make a selection of the floor.<\/li>\n
  2. Unlock the only layer and create a new one. Then press the delete key on the unlocked background layer while the selection is active.<\/li>\n
  3. Fill the layer you have created with 50% Gray<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Apply to the layer Texture<\/strong> > Patchwork<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Distort the tile layer with Free Transform<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Colorize the tiles with Hue\/Saturation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
