\nThe following tutorial shows easy steps to design a water melon in 5 minutes and 30 seconds, using Adobe Photoshop CS2.

<\/br><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Using Elliptical Marquee Tool<\/strong>, make a round selection.<\/li>\n
  2. Pick a light green color for foreground and a dark green color for background.<\/li>\n
  3. Apply to the selection Render<\/strong> > Clouds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. If necessary, apply to the selection Adjustments<\/strong> > Levels<\/strong> to adjust colors.<\/li>\n
  5. Create a new layer above the existing one.<\/li>\n
  6. Make several vertical selections with Elliptical Marquee Tool.<\/li>\n
  7. Turn off the visibility switch on the bottom layer.<\/li>\n
  8. Switch foreground and background colors and fill the selections with the dark green color.<\/li>\n
  9. Apply to the selections Render<\/strong> > Fibers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  10. While the selections are still active, apply to them a small amount of Gaussian Blur<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  11. Turn on the visibility switch on the bottom layer.<\/li>\n
  12. Based on the bottom layer, crop the top layer. (Hold down the Option key and make a click.)<\/li>\n
  13. Merge two layers into one.<\/li>\n
  14. Select the filled part and apply Distort<\/strong> > Ripple<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  15. Adjust colors with Levels, again, if necessary.<\/li>\n
  16. Add a layer style. Enable Bevel and Emboss<\/strong> to drop shadow.<\/li>\n
  17. Finally, apply to the selection Distort<\/strong> > Sherize<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
