Saints Row 2 is a violent action game developed by Volition (developer of Descent, Summoner, Red Faction and The Punisher). It was released by THQ in January 5.

So what kind of game is it? To some extent, some PC gamers might be reminded of hit role-playing/adventure game Fallout 3. In Saints Row 2, players will be asked to choose such human characteristics as gender, race, age and build at the beginning. You will be playing a Saints gang member, who will stand in a murder trial soon. You are now in Stillwater Correctional facility. One inmate named Carlos shows up and offers you help for jail break. He says his brother was in the Saints and told him all about you. After getting out of jail, your immediate task will be to earn respect points by killing bad guys from other gang groups.
