Drakensang: The Dark Eye is the latest role-playing game (RPG) published in North America by THQ. The game seems to have been previously released for PC only in Germany or Europe. Drakensang: The Dark Eye was developed by a German game developer called Radon Labs. In the past, Radon Labs has developed other games such as Treasure Island (2008), Riding Star (2008), Paws & Claws: Pet Vet (2006), Project Nomads (2002).

Drakensang: The Dark Eye is a typical RPG. Talking to people that the main character of the game meet while traveling, you will get new quests. These quests are recorded in the journal.

The following 46-minute QuickTime movie shows a game play video of Drakensang: The Dark Eye. An old friend Ardo, who lives in Ferdok writes and requests for my help. After creating a new character, I meet several people on the road and get new quests. One of the quests was recorded when I met two boys who say are looking for Rakorium, a spell-caster with a pointed hat and a green robe. Somebody has witnessed Rakorium walking around the Dark Forest.
