MOAB: Apple’s Finder at Risk

In fact, this isn’t the first time a security concern has been raised around Mac OS X’s own disc image, DMG. This time, the Month of Apple Bugs (MOAB) says that a “DMG image containing a volume name longer than 255 bytes” may accept malacious attacks due to Finder’s memory corruption vulnerability.
