These messages have interesting subject lines, which entice users to read them. And these malicious e-mail messages come with an attachment. If recipients open the attachment, their terminals will turn into zombie computers. Furthermore, according to Kawamoto, this so-called ‘Storm Worm’ contains a Trojan-horse type computer virus. Unless recipients open the attachment, no harm will be likely to be done.
