2 or 3 websites of American colleges and universities fall victims to affiliate spam every day. A new victim is University of North Carolina – Asheville (hereafter, UNCA). UNCA allocates one subdomain (facstaff.unca.edu) to its faculty and staff. And an affiliate spam group exploited this subdomain with possibly hundreds of affiliate spam pages.
Affiliate spam criminals advertise anything ranging from online prescription drug stores to porn websites. Their goal is just one. They just want to earn commissions.
So how do you stop affiliate spam criminals from coming back to your website? Read ‘To stop spam‘ to learn how to stop spam exploitations.
