Age of Mythology is one of the best real-time strategy (RTS) games that I have played. The publisher for the Mac version of the game MacSoft has released a Universal patch. If you have updated the game, you may have noticed a big change. Where is the saved game folder?

Age of Mythology and Age of Empires II will let you record your game plays. As for Age of Mythology, there used to be a folder titled “Savegame.” Now, it’s gone. Or is it? And where is it?

If you have recorded your game play, the following is the way of finding your recorded game files. It’s a Universal Binary application. So right-button-click (or left-button click while holding down the control key) on the application icon (Age of Mythology) and select Show Package Contents. Then the saved game folder is located at Contents > Resources > GameData > Savegame. You should be able to find your recorded game files for Age of Empires II in the same manner.
