TOKYO (MacHouse) – VideoLAN has updated its open-source, cross-platform multimedia player VLC Media Player to 0.9.2. According to the organization, the new version has ‘many new functionalities, including a new interface for’ Linux, Unix, Windows. Other features include direct connection to YouTube, Dailymotion, Google video URLs, new decoders and demuxers, more protocol support, new audio and video filters,
