TOKYO (MacHouse) – Apple, Inc. has released the first security update of the year for Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.4 terminal users and servers. This security update has a long list of improvements and fixes, covering such areas as Apple Pixlet Video, CarbonCore, CFNetwork, Certificate Assistant, ClamAV, DS Tools, Network Time, Perl, Python, Remote Apple Events, Safari RSS, SquirrelMail, X11. Meanwhile, the computer company has also released Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 3 for both Intel-based and PPC-based OS X 10.5 users already having Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 2 installed.
