VideoLAN has released an updated version (0.8.6a) of its popular video player. There are two lines of fixes. One fix is made for Mac and Windows over a format string security vulnerability as has been pointed out by MOAB. Another fix, according to VideoLAN, is improvement over ‘the “Fullscreen Controller on Mac OS X.”
