Yummy FTP Updated to 1.6

Yummy FTP

Yummy Software has updated its Mac-only FTP application Yummy FTP to 1.6. The new version contains several minor improvements.

Yummy FTP has a few unique functions that other FTP applications don’t support. One of them is the FTP alias. You can create an alias to a sub-directory of your remote website. With an FTP alias, you can simply drag and drop files to upload them without launching the application and then navigating to the specific directory for yourself. And, according to the software developer, the new version will allow the user to create stand-alone FTP aliases, which other people can use to upload files without having Yummy FTP itself.
