Apple, Inc has introduced a new line of iMac models today, one day after the company was scheduled to introduce new products to the media. The old iMac line had three screen sizes: 17″, 20″ and 24″. Now, Apple offers only two screen sizes: 20″ and 24″. The default memory is 1 GB. The clock speed has increased.
The iMac models come with 2.0 GHz or 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. You can optionally choose to have a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme processor on 24″ model. And there are more interesting features.
There are many Mac users waiting for the right time to buy Intel Mac models. But whether those who are waiting for the right time will buy ones this time is questionable as some of them are also waiting for the new operating system, OS 10.4 Leopard, which is scheduled to ship in October.
