The following tutorial shows easy steps to design a folded paper corner, using Adobe Photoshop CS2. The photo image used in this tutorial comes from PD Photo.

1. Create a new layer.
2. Make a selection of one corner and save it.
3. Go on and create a black-and-white displacement map. Copy the entire selection and paste it in a new file. Then save the file.
4. Make two duplicates of the original layer and keep the original.
5. In one duplicate, press the delete key after loading the saved selection.
6. Switch to the other duplicate, put the selection in inverse, and press the delete key.
7. Bring the corner tip to the center of the image. Then apply to it Distort > Displace.
8. Bring the corner tip back to where it was. Use Free Transform to reshape it.
