Final Cut Pro and Motion Sample: Deep Impact at a Ball Park?

Final Cut Pro Apple Motion tutorial

My wife and I went to a ball park the other day. It was her first time in seeing a Major League baseball game. So she was very excited. While watching the game, we both noticed a terrible noise. We could tell that something was approaching us. My wife said it must be a UFO. Yeah, right… Somebody around us said that it could be a revival of 1998 movie Deep Impact. Whatever happened, it was pretty quick. I guess most people didn’t noticed that a meteor was falling right in front of us.

We are specialized in making bad, pointless short video clips to waste our time. This time, we used Final Cut Pro 6 and Motion 3 to create a scene of a meteor fall that lasts for 18 seconds. The still image used in this sample video clip comes from Webshots

The flickering tail is kind of disturbing. But I had enough with this project. So I’m not going to repair the Motion file.
