QuickTime iTunes Mac

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Apple, Inc. has updated QuickTime and iTunes to 7.3 and 7.5, respectively. Both Mac and Windows versions of QuickTime have been updated. However, we have not been able to find a download link for the Windows version.

The major QuickTime update has been made to fix security vulnerability, according to the company. The security content document states that “A memory corruption issue exists in QuickTime’s handling of image description atoms” and that “Viewing a maliciously crafted movie file may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution.”

iTunes is also updated for both Mac and Windows. According to Apple, the new version of iTunes “features the ability to activate iPhone wherever service is offered and support for Phase, a new interactive music game designed exclusively for iPod nano (third generation), iPod classic, and iPod (fifth generation).”
