TOKYO (MacHouse) – Microsoft’s Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) has announced that those Mac users who purchase Microsoft Office 2004 now will get an upgrade ticket to Office 2008 for US$10 plus taxes (CAN$15 for Canadians). Only those who live in the U.S., Canada or other U.S. territories including Puerto Rico are currently eligible for this promotion.
After purchasing Mac Standard Edition, Mac Standard Edition Upgrade, Mac Student and Teacher Edition or Mac Student and Teacher Edition Upgrade, one needs to download a redemption form. Print, fill and then mail it to the company office in Buffalo, NY. Furthermore, after receiving a coupon, it must be redeemed online. Microsoft’s redemption webpage, however, may not function properly at this time. Depending on the web browser you use, you may not be able to fill out the form. (See the 2nd screenshot below.)
This promotion will expire on March 15, 2008.
