Unreal Tournament 3 Game Play Video – Part 2

Unreal Tournament 3 game play video

Okay. We admit that the Unreal Tournament 3 game play video that we made available the other day is not a very good one to watch. So we’ve created 3 more game play videos for Unreal Tournament fans who cannot wait to play on their Macs.

The second game play video is a flag capture map. Players are allowed to use a new weapon called Translocator to transport themselves for a short distance.  Continue reading

Unreal Tournament 3 Game Play Video – Part 1

Unreal Tournament 3 game play video

About 8 years ago, I remember having been to CompUSA in Oklahoma City and grabbed a copy of Unreal Tournament for Mac. I had no prior knowledge about the game. When I played it, it was a totally different experience. I played Unreal Tournament 2003, too. A great game… Unreal Tournament 2004? It’s sort of a rip-off game because it uses the same maps from the previous versions, right?

Unreal Tournament debuted on the Mac platform, at first. Then the PC version was released 9 months later. Okay, how about the latest version? Midway/Epic Games released the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 on November 19, 2007. Even the X 360 version is now available. We know that MacSoft is working on the Mac version. But we don’t know when it’s available.

Just several hours ago, I played the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 on our iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz. I can’t say if it’s a good game to play because I just started.

Anyway, the following is a game play video for Unreal Tournament 3 that I recorded several hours ago. I just started, so I can tell you that I’m not a good player. Nonetheless, it’s a game play video that we want to share with other Mac gamers.  Continue reading

Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties Game Play Video

Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties

I have played several Age of Empires games on both Mac and Windows OS. I played the very first one on Mac. Then I tried to play Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings and the Conquerors Expansion with Virtual PC 4, which didn’t work. So I purchased a cheap PC for these games. I also played Age of Empires III and Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs on my old iMac last December to January.

There’s one more expansion pack available for the Age of Empires III series. It’s Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties. The PC version was released on October 23, 2007. How about the Mac version? It looks like MacSoft is going to release it soon. If you are a Mac user and are dying to play this expansion, you may want to watch a game play video that we’ve created and keep your expectations high.

Unlike Age of Empires III and its first expansion pack, The Asian Dynasties has nothing to do with the Black family. It includes three new Asian civilizations: Japan, China and India. The first civilization to play is Japan. The year is 1600. It’s the year when Hideyoshi Toyotomi dies and when Yeyasu Tokunaga is eager to conquer the nation and end the 130-year-long dark ages of continuous wars.  Continue reading

Sid Meier’s Pirates! Game Play Video

Sid Meier's Pirates! Firaxis Games

Sid Meier is one of the biggest names in the computer video game industry. One of the best selling series is Civilization. There are other successful games. One of them is Sid Meier’s Pirates. The PC version of the game was released on November 22, 2004. It’s a nearly-4-year-old game. And English game developer Feral Interactive has recently announced they will bring this game to Mac OS. So what kind of game is it?

At first, you play a character as a boy who was born in a relatively affluent family. One night, a group of pirates comes to the house and kidnaps your family. Somehow, you slip away before they get you. Ever since, you’ve sworn to yourself that you will become a great sea pirate, sailing the Atlantic Ocean, and find your family.

Anyway, the following is a game play video that we have created. Again, the audio quality is not the best. At least, it’s there. So watch it away if you like.  Continue reading
