TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – I feel like it’s been many months since the last, long winter was ongoing. My favorite summer is arriving to the Tokyo area soon. Anyway, I just submitted a new desktop application called Remind Me Quick to Mac App Store a while ago.
Pretty much every day, I use an electricity-powered sandwich maker to make a grilled sandwich with cheese in it. After forgetting to turn off the power a few times and nearly burning my sandwiches, I’ve decided to make a simple desktop application to remind myself of not forgetting to turn off the switch in 5 minutes. So I’ve spent two hours and then another some 36 hours enhancing it, and voila! It’s Remind Me Quick.
Remind Me Quick is very simple to use. Just select a wait time with a drop-down menu. And click on the Remind me button. And it will show you the remaining time. Then, what!? Just concentrate on other things. When the time finally comes, Remind Me Quick will remind you of an event with a flashing screen and a sound.
