What’s Coming Up Next? Tomato Software Introducing Deskcap 4 for macOS

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – I love this time of the season though it’s been a little bit chilly lately. And I have been quite productive although I can never be what I once was in July when I produced eight software products. Well, I’m ready to introduce to you the second software title of the month. This new desktop software release is called Deskcap 4.

Deskcap 4 is a new software update to a 13-year-old desktop application that lets you define a work area with a virtual color frame. The work area is clipped out of the entire desktop area such that you can work with other applications. The area in color outside of this transparent work frame is protected by the application and will not respond to your mouse clicks. Click on the Capture button to take a desktop screenshot of the current work area. By setting up a shared folder, you can let the application save an image file to disk with a click of a button, and you won’t even be bothered to name a file.   Continue reading

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – You never know when you get a development idea. It just happends, sometimes, while you sleep. And it was just like that last night. Now, I’m submitting a new desktop application to Mac App Store. This new release is called Detouchable.

Detouchable lets extract PDF document pages and save them as BMP, GIF, HEIC, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNG or TIFF images. And it’ll take just several seconds to write all pages or the pages you have selected as images to disk.   Continue reading
