What’s Coming Up Next? Tomato Software Introducing Supply Chain Mobile for iOS

iPhone iPad Supply Chain Mobile

YOKOHAMA (Señor Tomato) – This is another day of double releases. Earlier, I introduced a macOS application called Supply Chain Central. The other half is Supply Chain Mobile. It’s an iOS app for iPhone and iPad users.

In the days of smart phone use, if you have a supply chain business, your retailers probably want a quick shipment update delivered to their phones and tablets and don’t want to let them down, do you?. Or your days may be numbered. Supply Chain Mobile works closely with its macOS counterpart called Supply Chain Central so that retailers and delivery truck drivers will get an instant shipment update sent to their iOS devices. So a supply chain company manager uses Supply Chain Central to create a shipment order and then pushes a shipment update with its location and an expected arrival date. They can enlist retailers and delivery truck drivers so that the same shipment update will be delivered to them at the same time. A retailer can tap the notification alert to see the details of the shipment update and may return an update to the supplier with a thanks note. The delivery truck driver may choose to return a shipment update to the supplier with the latest arrival date and time and the current shipment location.   Continue reading

Mac application Supply Chain Central

YOKOHAMA (Señor Tomato) – We are almost one month away from entering a new Spring season. I can’t wait. Hopefully, the daylight time will be a lot longer.

Well, just like the last month, I’m preparing double releases. The first one to go is Supply Chain Central.

Supply Chain Central works with its iOS counterpart called Supply Chain Mobile so that you as a supplier can send a shipment update directly to your customers’ iOS devices. And they will be notified with a notification. If they tap a notification alert, they will be presented with a sheet showing an expected shipment date, the current location and a package list. You can send an update for the same shipment to multiple devices at a time including your customer and a delivery truck driver such that the latter can update you back with the latest location of shipment.   Continue reading

What’s Coming Up Next? Tomato Software Introducing Sweet Hotel Work 2 for iOS

iPhone iPad Sweet Hotel Work 2

YOKOHAMA (Señor Tomato) – Besides the cold weather, I don’t like the winter season because the daylight time is short. I usually have dry skin, but I don’t this winter.

Anyway, the other software title of the double releases that I talked about in the last article is Sweet Hotel Work 2. It’s an iOS app for iPhone and iPad users.

Sweet Hotel Central 2 helps you run your hotel business whether you have hundreds of daily guests or are just renting vacant rooms after your kids left home for college. Sweet Hotel Central 2 lets you create room and guest records so that you can book reservations and maintain schedule on the weekly basis. Sweet Hotel Work 2 works with this desktop application side by side and lets you stay alert on the status of guest rooms while you are away from hotel management. It is designed such that you as a room service or repair service representative and a hotel manager share information remotely on the status (out of service, open, checked-in…) of each room.   Continue reading

What’s Coming Up Next? Tomato Software Introducing Sweet Hotel Central 2 for macOS

Mac application Sweet Hotel Central 2

YOKOHAMA (Señor Tomato) – Some of you probably know that I hate the cold winter weather although today’s temperature has risen to 11°C (about 51°F) in the Yokohama area. I guess 11°C is not that bad as long as you stay inside. I run 4 or 5 km in the evening every day. It gets quite cold by that time. Hopefully, it will get a lot warmer next month.

Oh, well, I’m ready to introduce to you the first software product of this month. It’s one of double releases just like the combo that I introduced at the very end of the last year. This desktop application is called Sweet Hotel Central 2.

Whether you have hundreds of rooms at your hotel or just rent a couple of empty rooms for a short-time stay, Sweet Hotel Central 2 gives you everything you need to run a hotel business on your Mac so that you can host guests efficiently. You can register tens or even hundreds of rooms at a time and assign a geographical location to each property & room. Click on the Map tab, and you can see where your properties & rooms are all located on the map. Shown under the Schedule tab is your weekly schedule for hosting guests. Create a customer record so that you can book a reservation for your guest. Find out which room is available or not available for your guests based on the room capacity and their budget.

Sweet Hotel Central 2 goes beyond letting you manage customer records and book room reservations. It works with its iOS counterpart, Sweet Hotel Work 2, side by side so that you can set up a communication table between you and room maintenance workers. Send an invitation to a room service representative so that he or she can receive a notification every time you push a room status change. Once a table is set, iOS users can even push and receive a room status change among themselves.   Continue reading
