We are shocked and disappointed to learn that nation’s top schools can also fall victims to affiliate spam so innocently and easily. The victimized websites for affiliate spam include those of Harvard Law School H2O (http://h2o.law.harvard.edu/) and Stanford University Liverly Arts (http://livelyarts.stanford.edu/).

University of Minnesota Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies Website Exploited for Affiliate Spam
The University of Minnesota has a website to document Nazi’s holocaust and other tragic genocide events. The website says it’s “dedicated to the Memory of Raoul Wallenberg.” Raoul Wallenberg is a Swedish humanitarian who saved “tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews” during WWII, according to Wikipedia. Sadly, an affiliate spammer exploited this website to earn commissions. Continue reading
Michigan State University College of Education Among Other High Educational Institutions Exploited for Affiliate Spam
Some ten days ago, we reported that Michigan State University’s Laboratory for Instructional Technology in Education (LITE) was exploited for pharmacy spam. And we are today reporting that an affiliate spam group has exploited forum website called Web Wiz Forums, which is run by College of Education at Michigan State University. Continue reading
