Unreal Tournament 3 Game Play Video – Part 2

Unreal Tournament 3 game play video

Okay. We admit that the Unreal Tournament 3 game play video that we made available the other day is not a very good one to watch. So we’ve created 3 more game play videos for Unreal Tournament fans who cannot wait to play on their Macs.

The second game play video is a flag capture map. Players are allowed to use a new weapon called Translocator to transport themselves for a short distance.  Continue reading

Unreal Tournament 3 Game Play Video – Part 1

Unreal Tournament 3 game play video

About 8 years ago, I remember having been to CompUSA in Oklahoma City and grabbed a copy of Unreal Tournament for Mac. I had no prior knowledge about the game. When I played it, it was a totally different experience. I played Unreal Tournament 2003, too. A great game… Unreal Tournament 2004? It’s sort of a rip-off game because it uses the same maps from the previous versions, right?

Unreal Tournament debuted on the Mac platform, at first. Then the PC version was released 9 months later. Okay, how about the latest version? Midway/Epic Games released the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 on November 19, 2007. Even the X 360 version is now available. We know that MacSoft is working on the Mac version. But we don’t know when it’s available.

Just several hours ago, I played the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 on our iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz. I can’t say if it’s a good game to play because I just started.

Anyway, the following is a game play video for Unreal Tournament 3 that I recorded several hours ago. I just started, so I can tell you that I’m not a good player. Nonetheless, it’s a game play video that we want to share with other Mac gamers.  Continue reading

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Game Play Video 2 – Rocky Ride

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

For those who cannot wait to play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on their Macs, here is another game play video to raise your expectations on the game. I have several Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games including Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Breakthrough and Call of Duty 2. All of them include at least one mission with a rocky ride. That is, you are ordered to shoot enemy soldiers while your colleague drives a jeep. How about Call of Duty 4? Does it have a rocky ride mission? Yes, it does.  Continue reading

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Game Play Video

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

There haven’t been many good games for Mac OS lately. Maybe, the best game in the past year was EA’s Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars. If you go back 2 or 3 years, the best Mac game was Call of Duty 2, right? It’s good to know that Aspyr Media is porting the latest installment of Call of Duty to Macs. Bad news is that it was scheduled for release this summer and that it won’t be available till the 3rd quarter of this year, according to company’s announcement of June 3rd.

So we decided to preview the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It’s installed on the Windows partition with Boot Camp. Does it play on Intel Macs? Well, we have no problem playing it with our iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz at all. I haven’t finished all single-player campaigns. So I’m not in the position of evaluating this game. So far, the game is quite amazing with such realistic graphics.  Continue reading
