We sometimes want to put files and folders in a particular order appearance instead of letting Finder tidy them by name, kind, date, label and so forth. An accident can happen. If you had dozens of files and folders in a folder, it would be pretty difficult to restore the original locations. What a pathetic software developer hiring a comment spammer or becoming one themselves, huh!? They should instead say “MacKeeper is an impressive solution intended to spam those who use Macintosh personal computers.” A software developer hiring a career spammer… Yuck!

Looking at the sales volume only, most software developers must be pleased with Mac App Store, which Apple, Inc. opened in January 6. That’s true with us, too. Well, we were first skeptical. In fact, we weren’t even interested in selling our software titles at Mac App Store at first. Now, more than two dozen software titles of ours are available there. Even for Mac users, Mac App Store offers a relatively easy way of purchasing software. It offers an uniform way of making purchases and updating software titles regardless of developers.

It sounds like Mac App Store offers a win-win situation for both Mac users and software developers. Or maybe not… Let’s see some of negative aspects of Mac App Store.   Continue reading →

We already know that Apple, Inc. is scheduled to release Mac OS X Lion (OS X 10.7) this summer. The official announcement of Lion was made on the day when the company had its “Back to the Mac” event on October 20, 2010. So we are just 2 or 3 months away from seeing Max OS X Lion.

In the meantime, it has been more than nine months since Apple introduced the last line of iMac models. According to the company, the last line was introduced in July 27. It’s referred to as iMac Mid-2010. In fact, we have one 2.8 GHz Quad-Core 27″ model. Anyway, chances are that Apple will introduce a new line of iMac models soon after they release Mac OS X Lion.

By the way, aside from a new line of iMac models, now that Apple runs Mac App Store successfully, some Mac users may wonder if Apple will sell Mac OS X Lion at Mac App Store? Or will they even sell OS X install discs in the form of DVD?

So what should we expect on new iMac models? Maybe a bigger display than 27″? Maybe faster Core i5 microprocessors than 2.8 GHz (4-Core)? Well, human wants are limitless.
