TOKYO (MacHouse) – It hasn’t even been 12 hours since we introduced the last software title called ExportW2Q. And we are ready to introduce another one. It’s called ExportQ2W. In fact, it’s quite similar to ExportW2Q. ExportQ2W will allow the user to quickly and easily convert QuickTime-readable movies (3GP, DV, M4V, MOV, MP4…) into WMV movies.

Is Lion Preview Release a Disaster?

TOKYO (MacHouse) – A few days ago, Apple, Inc. (hereby, Apple) has released the first preview version of Mac OS X Lion for developers. Those who have signed up for one of the developer’s programs should have received an e-mail message for this notification. (See Screenshot 1.)

If you pay close attention to what’s going on in the past few days at the Developer Forums, there are quite a number of topics under the Installation section. In fact, there have been 16 pages of them at the time of writing this article. (See Screenshot 2.) Many claim that they cannot redeem the coupon they’ve received. Some say they cannot download the preview copy. Others say the download process stopped in the middle. They also say the Finder will constantly crash.   Continue reading

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Last January, Apple, Inc. (hereby, Apple) started its Mac App Store, where the company says that software developers can “reach millions of users around the world.” It sounds like Apple offers an easy and exciting solution to independent software developers. Seeing it from the view point of software developers, Apple calls this online distribution system Mac Developer Program.

So what do we know about Mac Developer Program? Reading publicly accessible web pages, you will learn that

      – program enrollment fee is $99
      – Apple will take 30% of every software sale
      – the Mac App Store is open to people in 90 countries

There is an untold version of the Mac Developer Program that you will never learn by accessing publicly accessible Apple’s web pages. In fact, one of the elements in the list above may not even be correct.   Continue reading

It will offer them a quick solution to getting their apps ready for sale at Mac App Store. Since it’s a beta version, it’s distributed as a freeware title for the moment.
