Freeverse, Inc., a software developer who is known for Comic Life Deluxe, Burning Monkey Solitaire series and an upcoming game Heroes of Might & Magic, is currently running an art work contest in use of its software title Lineform. (The free trial version may be downloaded and used.) A successful winner submitting his/her original art work will be awarded $1,000. According to Freeverse, the contest will close at 11:59 PM (EST) on December 14, 2006.

Apple Releasing Security Update 2006-007
Apple Computer, Inc has released a new update patch that fixes more than a dozen vulnerable components including AirPort, Finder and Font Book. It has been pointed out that Apple’s main disc image, dmg, has a security weakness. But this security vulnerability has yet been fixed this time.
