iPods Shipped with RavMonE.Exe Virus
Apple has reported at its own website that a small number of Video iPods that have been shipped after September 12 are found infected by a particular computer virus. This computer virus is identified as RavMonE.exe virus, which only infects computers on Windows OS.

QuickTime H.264 Gamma Shift
Comparing the two screenshots (100% JPEG compression) below, you may notice some difference between the two. The one on the right looks better while the one on the left looks a little bit washed out. (If necessary, download them by right-mouse-clicking on the screenshots.) These screenshots both come from the same source. They both come from the projection of the same QuickTime VTC we have previously produced. The difference depends on how we played back the video file. Apple, Offering Red iPod Nano
Apple introduced on Friday a special edition of iPod Nano, ‘Red Special Edition.’ Apple donates $10 for each unit they sell to the Global Fund. The money will be used to fight AIDS in Africa, Apple says.

Google Launching ‘Google Mac Blog’
Google Inc started on Moday a blog exclusively for Mac users. It is called Google Mac Blog and uses ‘Blogger’ to host it. In the meantime, Google has setup up a page for Google tools that Mac users can use.
