TOKYO (MacHouse) – It has been just a couple of days since we released the third software title of the month. And we are ready to introduce another. This new software title is called PNG4iDevices.

PNG4iDevices is a simple application that will allow software developers to generate various sizes of PNG files for iPhone & iPad applications.  With a single square-ratio PNG/PSD/TIFF image, you can generate different PNG images (29 x 29 px, 50 x 50 px, 57 x 57 px, 114 x 114 px, …, 512 x 512 px).  If you have a source image each for multiple applications, you can just drag and drop them all onto the listbox, which serves as a drop box, to generate icon images at a time.

Of course, you could just use Preview to convert a source image into one different size after another. Or try PNG4iDevices to save your valuable time.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – There is no question that Adobe Illustrator is a great product.  We use it every time we design an application icon before a new software release.  It’s just that I hate it to enable the ruler and the grids every time I open a new document.

AIStart is a simple application that will let you create a new Illustrator document with some startup settings.  Choose File > Save to save your startup settings so that you can create a new Illustrator document right away when you launch ALStart again. AIStart is currently available as a freeware title.

Note that AIStart has been tested with Adobe Illustrator CS3 only.  There is no guarantee it will run properly with other versions.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – You never know when you come with a new idea. It often happens out of the blue. Well, that was about 24 hours ago. And we now have the second software release of the month. A new software title is called Icons2Pics .

Icons2Pics is a simple application that will allow the user to convert any number of application icons into graphic images of various sizes at a time.  All you have to do is drag and drop applications directly onto the listbox, choose an export format and select image sizes and an export destination and then click on Export. You can set default export format, image sizes and destination folder in Preferences. So you could just import applications and then click on Export right away. Is that simple enough for you?

TOKYO (MacHouse) – It hasn’t even been five days since we released the last software title. But we are ready to introduce a new one. The first software title of the month to introduce is called FontsView .

FontsView is a simple text previewer with the font of your choice.  Sometimes, it’s not very easy to pick the best font especially if you have hundreds of them to choose from.  FontsView will let you quickly preview text with a given font so that you can pick the best choice.  Choosing File > Export, you can generate an HTML file with lines of text with all available fonts along with a text color and text size of your choice.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – We thought Color2Code was the last software title of the month to introduce. We were wrong. The last software title of this month is actually T-Styles.

T-Styles is a simple Mac software title that allows the user to store text styles (text color, font, text size…). If you want to use any of them, you can simply select one in the list and then click on the copy button to copy the selected text style into the clipboard. Or you can choose Text Style > Open With TextEdit to let the application directly send it to a new TextEdit document.
