TOKYO (MacHouse) – The second software title we are releasing this month is called JoinMovies. It’s a spin-off of Split n Join, again. As the name suggests, JoinMovies allows the user to put video clips of the same format or similar ones together to create a new independent movie file.

Under JoinQT, you can combine QuickTime-readable video clips (3GP, 3GP2, DV, M4V, MOV, MP4) into one, and you can create a QuickTime video (MOV). It’s an independent video clip, and you can open it with QuickTime Player. Note that you need the freeware version of QuickTime Player 7 in order to use JoinQT. You can also combine Matroska-container video clips (MKV) of the same kind into one video clip under JoinMKV. Or use JoinAVI to put AVI video clips together to create a new one.

What’s Coming Up Next? – MacHouse Releasing SplitMovies

TOKYO (MacHouse) – The first software title to release this month is called SplitMovies. Just as other several software titles we previously released, SplitMovies will only be available at Mac App Store.

So what is SplitMovies? In a sense, it’s a reduced version of Split n Join, our top selling software title. SplitMovies allows the user to split a movie file into multiple independent video clips, each of which can be opened and viewed with a media player. Currently, SplitMovies supports such media formats as 3GP, 3GP2, DV, M4V, MOV, MP4, MKV (Matroska), AVI.

Hopefully, SplitMovies will be available at Mac App Store by the end of this month.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – We thought UnpackX, which we released just two days ago would be the last software product of this month to introduce. We were wrong. We have just released a new software title. It’s called QMovies.

Actually, there isn’t much new with QMovies. It’s a spin-off of an existing software title. Anyway, QMovies is designed to work with only QuickTime movie files (.mov). This software title will let you batch-convert self-contained QuickTime videos into reference movies. You can also use QMovies to batch-convert reference movies into self-contained QuickTime movies. By the way, using QMovies doesn’t require QuickTime Pro.

UnpackX is a simpler version of Little Disc+, our No.2 top-selling software title. UnpackX will let you unpack disc images and file archives into folders, one at a time. Currently, the supported disc image formats include BIN, DAA, ISO. And UnpackX will also let you work on file archives that include RAR, encrypted RAR, RAR parts, 7z, encrypted-7z.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – We released 2 Mac software titles just about 30 hours ago. And we are ready to introduce another. It’s called QuickWMA. QuickWMA is a simple solution to batch-converting Window Media Audio clips into QuickTime-readable audio files.

Mac users are surrounded by devices that are primarily used for PC users. Many audio devices support only Window Media Audio (WMA). QuickWMA is a software title that you can use to convert Window Audio Media clips (.wma) into a different audio format so that you can play them back with QuickTime player. Of course, you won’t need any additional QuickTime component in order to convert audio clips with QuickWMA. Currently, QuickWMA supports such export audio formats as AIF, MOV, MP3, WAV.
