Many months ago, we were innocent. And we posted a few e-mail addresses of ours somewhere on our website. As a consequence, affiliate spammers have harvested these e-mail addresses.

A simple and crude way of stopping e-mail spam is to disable the e-mail address. You can also go after those who harbor and/or finance these affiliate spammers. In fact, many financiers are online pharmacy retailers and porn websites.

Earlier, we reported that the website of Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Memphis has been exploited for affiliate spam. As is often the case with other exploited websites, exploring the affiliate spam pages at the University of Memphis has led us to other exploited websites.

We have found affiliate spam pages at the websites run by following colleges and universities.
