The purpose of this video tutorial is to show how to embed QuickTime movie in HTML. We use Adobe Dreamweaver to introduce some of the main ‘attributes’ used in QuickTime’s Embed Tag. Six months ago, we took a sample of 146 movies that were listed at some of popular Torrent websites to see which video compression method was most widely used. 125 movies (85.6%) were compressed with Xvid. Surprisingly, DivX3 had the second place. Continue reading
LimeWire is an open-source, free P2P (peer-to-peer) client program which uses the Gnutella network. It’s been one of the most downloaded program at download.com for the Mac platform. Apple Computer has updated frameworks and share components for its pro applications such as “Final Cut Studio 5.1, Final Cut Pro 5.1, Motion 2.1, Soundtrack Pro 1.1, Apple Qmaster 2.1, Compressor 2.1, DVD Studio Pro 4.1, LiveType 2.1, Shake 4.1, and Final Cut Express HD 3.5.” Some of the updated QuickTime components include ‘HDVCodec,’ ‘Uncompressed 422,’ ‘IMXCodec.’ For more information, go to Pro Applications Update 2006-01.
