According to its website, East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, may have accidentally exposed personal data due to a programming error. It is not the act of hacking, they say. But they are mailing a letter to about 65,000 current/former students and employees of the University to notify them of possible data exposure.

This video tutorial is created based on the article posted on #353. We are using MPEG Streamclip from Squared 5 to convert an HDV file into something so that the resulting video clip can be used for DVD authoring or posted on the web. We use Roxio’s Toast Titanium to create a custom DVD. Finally, we use VLC from VideoLAN to view it. Continue reading
