We will soon switch web hosting companies from one to another. Because we have about 12 gigabytes of data to transfer, transition can take days. And some functions may not work after the switchover. Furthermore, if you have a member’s account to enter protected areas, your password may change. And during transition, it is most likely that we will disable video streaming.

Apple Updating DVD Studio Pro to 4.1.2
Apple, Inc. has updated its professional DVD authoring tool to 4.1.2. This update fixes some bugs and “compatibility issues with DVD Studio Pro 4.1 HD DVD projects and Toshiba HD DVD players.” You will need an Apple ID account to log into Apple’s Final Cut Studio page in order to download this updater.

Boris FX ‘How Did They Do That’ Contest
Boris FX, Inc., a developer of popular graphic effect plug-in products, is currently hosting ‘How Did They Do That’ contest. According to the company,
“We are pleased to roll out the “How Did They Do That?” tips and techniques contest. Participation in the contest is simple. Submit your favorite Boris FX work with a short brief on how you used Boris FX tools to realize your project.”
Boris FX will accept contest submissions through March 23 and will announce winners on March 30, 2007. They will give out prizes (iPod, Boris FX products…) to one 1st winner, 1 2nd winnder and 10 3rd winners.
