Sonic Solutions, the developer of Roxio Toast Titanium, released Roxio Toast last week. What is it for? Roxio Crunch is an MPEG-4 exporter especially designed for Apple TV and Video iPod. Okay. But if I already have QuickTime Pro, is it something that I would still like to have? And here comes another question. Does it read MPEG files? If it reads MPEG files, does that mean Roxio Crunch can decode and transcode MPEG into MPEG-4 with or without MPEG-2 Playback? How about AC3, AVI and WMV? Continue reading
Feral Interactive: “Colin McRae Rally” Coming Soon
According to English game publisher Feral Interactive, they will soon release Colin McRae Rally Mac. The game is based on “Colin McRae Rally 2005,” whose PC version was released on October 28, 2004. So it’s a bit old game to be ported for Mac OS. Nonetheless, it seems to have received relatively good overall ratings under Windows OS. For example, GameSpot has given 8.3 out of 10, and GameSpy has given 4.5 out of 5 stars. Continue reading
