The other day, we reviewed Realmac Software’s RapidWeaver 3.6. It can be a great savior for those who have little knowledge about HTML and PHP codes but want to run blog websites. RapidWeaver 3.6 has a built-in help menu, which offers little or no assistance in time of trouble. And, as of today, Realmac Software doesn’t even have a user’s guide or tutorial in a PDF form for RapidWeaver 3.6.

Over the next several days, MacHouse will be releasing at least four video tutorials, which we hope will help Mac users to develop their own blog websites using RapidWeaver 3.6. We will develop a simple blog website with a contact form and additional three HTML pages through these video tutorials. Continue reading

3ivx Technologies Releasing 3ivx MPEG-4 5.0

3ivx MPEG-4 5.0

Australian software developer 3ivx Technologies Pty. Ltd. has released a new version of QuickTime component, 3ivx MPEG-4 5.0. According to the company, this MPEG-4-based QuickTime component is available for Linux, Mac and Windows (Vista-compatible) operating systems. This new version supports such MPEG-4 features as B-frames, Global Motion Compensation (GMC) and Quarter Pixel as well as customized quantization matrices, according to 3ivx Technologies.
