According to Mac Mojo, the official weblog by Mactopia and Microsoft’s Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU), a long waited new version of Microsoft Office compatible with Intel Mac models will be released in January, 2008. New version Microsoft 2008 was initially scheduled for release during the second half of this year. Microsoft Office is now one of the few major Mac software titles that aren’t made available in Universal Binaries.
