<== Image of Apple's iPhone
TOKYO (MacHouse) – Several days ago, I came across another Google ad, which said “Buy iPhone only $185.” The link given by Google is www.lightinthebox.com. So I clicked on the link. If you go to the website, you will see a handheld device with a familiar desktop wallpaper of clown anemonefish surrounded by green bubbles. So is it Apple’s iPhone? Continue reading

Adobe Photoshop Very Simple Tutorial: A Squall of Rain at a Balcony
The other day, my wife and I were having a cup of tea at a balcony in late afternoon. We were just talking. My wife mentioned that it had not rained for a long time. I think the last time we had rain was about 6 months ago. My wife was very concerned because her garden flowers could use rain badly. Then she said “Honey, my flowers are dying. Could you do something?” “You want rain, huh!?,” I said. So I went to my computer room, starting up my iMac and launching Adobe Photoshop. In a matter of 5 minutes or so, we had a squall of rain. I still can’t forget her happy face.

Adobe Photoshop Very Simple Tutorial: Jigsaw Puzzle
A few days ago, a man came to our office. He said that he was representing the City of Chicago. According to him, the City of Chicago is bidding for the 2016 Olympics. And they decided to make a jigsaw puzzle featuring the City and to ask people for support. “You want us to design a jigsaw puzzle?” I said. Hmm… That’s not a problem. So I just launched Adobe Photoshop CS2. In less than 5 minutes, I quickly designed a jigsaw puzzle with a given photo image.

Adobe Photoshop Very Simple Tutorial: Bathroom Tiles
Last week, my wife and I had a little household dispute. As a result, she took her dog and went back to her home town in Kansas. I was totally upset, staying in an empty house by myself. I decided to work on one of the bathrooms, replacing floor tiles. Hopefully, she will realize how reliable I am as the home improvement guy of the household. I started out okay, but I gradually got tired. I started to think that there was perhaps an easier way of replacing bathroom tiles. Hmm… Oh, yes, Adobe Photoshop! So I went to my work room, starting up my iMac and launching Photoshop CS2. In a matter of 3 minutes or so, I replaced floor tiles in the bathroom.
It’s been several days since she left. So the question is when is she coming back? Or is she ever coming back?
The following tutorial shows steps to design floor tiles, using Adobe Photoshop CS2. The photo image used in this tutorial comes from Webshots. Continue reading
