Age of Mythology for Mac






MacSoft, a division of Minnesota-based game developer Destineer, has released an update patch for the Mac version of Age of Mythology. Age of Mythology is a real-time strategy game originally developed by Ensemble Studios and was released in 2002. MacSoft ported the game to Mac OS in late 2003. According to the software developer, this patch will update the PPC version of the game to Universal.

Adobe to Release Audition 3

Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced a major upgrade to its professional audio production software title. According to the company,

“Adobe Audition 3 is designed to give audio professionals — sound designers, recording and mastering engineers, and musicians — a flexible production toolkit for recording, mixing, editing, and mastering audio.”

Adobe Audio is currently available for Windows OS only. According to Adobe, Audition 3 will be available in the last quarter of 2007.

Nice-to-have Simple Mac Device List, History, Chat-Chat

12 years ago, if somebody asked me which was a must-to-have device for my Mac, I would have answered that it was my magneto-optical drive from SONY. Plug-in disk capacity was only 128 MB. But it was large enough those days, considering that I initially started out with a 30 MB Super Mac external hard disk drive connected to 2MB RAM Mac Plus in 1991.

Things have changed over years. Now, we are talking about hundreds of GB of capacity. Hard disk capacity has increased nearly 1,000 times over the past 10 years. Continue reading →
