What’s Coming Up Next? – MacHouse Introducing Texturesque for iPad

iOS software iPad Texturesque

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Last month, we were a bit slow and released only two applications. This month, we already have a new iOS application to introduce to you. Remember the last software release? It’s QuickPie. After watching a background texture pattern on a pie chart, I said to myself “Hmm… Maybe, I can create a small app to randomly generate texture patterns.” Now, we have a new iPad application to talk about. The new software title we’ve just submitted to Apple‘s iTunes Connect is called Texturesque.

As mentioned earlier, Texturesque is an iOS application that lets you randomly generate texture patterns. All you have to do is tap the CREATE button, and Texturesque will instantly create a texture pattern. The initial installment only lets you generate one texture pattern at a time. With an in-app item, you can generate as many as 1,000 patterns at a time in a matter of several seconds or less. Select a texture pattern in the table and tap its disclosure indicator, and you can save the texture pattern as a PNG image, which you can extract through a desktop computer installing iTunes. What’s Coming Up Next? – MacHouse Introducing CalABC for iPad

iOS software iPad CalABC

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Several days ago, I had to go to the tax office to submit papers. After realizing that I made some mistakes, I needed to use a calculator to add up numbers. So I turned on my iPad Mini. Well, that’s when I found out that iOS doesn’t even come with a simple, virtual calculator. We don’t have one. So we build one. And we’ve just submitted the first iOS application of the year. It’s called CalABC.

Well, CalABC is not exactly a simple virtual calculator. It’s an equation solver. So it will solve the entire equation you enter when you tap the equal pad instead of doing a calculation each time you tap the mathematical sign like +, -, * and /. In this way, you can correct a mistake by using the backspace button when necessary.   Continue reading

TOKYO (MacHouse) – So far, we’ve already released four iOS application this month. Year 2013 is near, and it’s just a few hours away. And we are releasing one more iOS application this application before the year of 2012 ends. It’s called GMT2What.

GMT2What is a simple iPad application that allows the user to convert a GMT time into the time of the timezone area you select. Many remote servers GMT as the standard time by setting it to 0. Speaking of a Greenwich Mean time, one can get confused in translating it into a local time especially if it’s in the past.   Continue reading

What’s Coming Up Next? – MacHouse Introducing GetHours for iPad

iOS software iPad GetHours

TOKYO (MacHouse) – So it’s been more than 10 days since we released the last iOS application. Actually, we had to wait for Apple to resume iTunes Connect so that we could upload a new application. And we’ve just released a new iPad application, which is called GetHours.

GetHours is a virtual time clock system that lets you use your iPad to manage the work time of hourly workers instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a physical device. The employer signs in as an administrator who has permission to create a list of employees with their names and check-in IDs. Then set a work day and turn on the clock-in or clock-out switch. Finally, your employees can clock in (or clock out) by selecting their name from a list. GetHours can tell whether or not a particular employee has already clocked in. So your employees cannot clock in or clock out more than once on the same work day. Moreover, GetHours is designed such that employees can never clock out unless they have clocked in in the first place.

GetHours doesn’t just record work hours. You can run a query to generate a list of work hours for individual employees or the entire work force. You can then e-mail this text output to yourself. An output sheet shows what time an employee has clocked in and out with the total number of hours (with two decimal points below zero) automatically calculated for each work day.   Continue reading
