Playing Grand Theft Auto IV with Boot Camp – Grand Theft Auto IV – 30 Minutes

Grand Theft Auto IV Mac Boot Camp

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV is a new action/adventure game, which was published by Rockstar Games, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, in December 2. Grand Theft Auto IV was developed by Rockstar North in Edinburgh, Scotland (U.K.). This game was already published for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in April 29.

As far as I played Grand Theft Auto IV for one hour or so, it looked to me that this game is pretty closely to a 2002 game called Mafia. Mafia was published by Gathering on August 28, 2002.

The following QuickTime movie is a game play video of Grand Theft Auto IV. It starts with the cinematic movie at the beginning and then ends when the main character of the game is pulled over by the police. I can tell you that it’s not fun watching it.

With 2 GB of RAM and 256 MB of VRAM, I was only able to play the game with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. And the game requires quite a lot of keys to control. (See the screenshots below.)
