We introduced a total of nine game play videos of Half-Life 2: Episode Two a while ago. For those who haven’t even played Episode One, we are releasing six new game play videos. EA Games released Half-Life 2: Episode One on June 1, 2006. So it’s a 2-and-half-a-year old game. It’s not as good as Episode Two. But Episode One is still a great game to play.

The following six QuickTime movies covers the entire game play of EA Games’ Half-Life 2: Episode One. Do you remember how Episode Two starts? Gordon Freeman finds himself inside a wrecked train car. Alyx Vance is uninjured and helps Freeman get out of the train car. You will spend as much as 163 minutes to find out what happened before the train crashed. This QuickTime movie is a game play video of Valve Software‘s hit action/adventure game Half-Life 2: Episode Two. The game was published on October 9, 2007. Valve Software is scheduled to release Episode Three this year.

This game play video covers the last chapter (Our Mutual Fiend) of Half-Life 2: Episode Two and concludes the entire game. Gordon Freeman continues to use the Magnusson Device to destroy the Striders. But the White Forest is surrounded by the Striders and the Hunters. And Gordon is almost out of ammunition.

Finally, Gordon destroys all the Striders and Hunters. The base is seemingly secure for now. A helicopter is waiting for Gordon and Alyx Vance. They are about to leave the White Forest for the Borealis. But something terrible is going to happen in the last minute.

After finishing the entire game, I can tell you that Half-Life 2: Episode Two is a nice game with a strong emphasis on the story line. Half-Life 2 fans must be patiently waiting for Episode Three. It’s a 14-month-old game, but it’s worth playing if you haven’t. In the meantime, the game is quite short. One can probably finish the entire game by continuously playing for 24 hours or so.   Continue reading →

This game play video covers the fifth and sixth chapters (Under the Radar and Our Mutual Fiend) of Half-Life 2: Episode Two. Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance finally reach the White Forest. But their base is soon raided by the Combine. Meanwhile, they have invented a new defense weapon called the Magnusson Device. It’s a sticky bomb, which Gordon can shoot off with his Force Gun. This game play video covers the fourth and fifth chapters (Riding Shotgun and Under the Radar) of Half-Life 2: Episode Two. Last time, Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance were forced to flee from the radio tower. They have successfully entered ally’s terrotory. Bad news is that the car engine is broken and must be fixed. The ally also runs a repair shop. But Gordon first needs to help them shoot down a helicopter.

They have a car repair shop. But the Combine has cut off their access to automobile parts by setting up auto guns and guarding the backyard. So Gordon must shut off Combine’s auto gun system.   Continue reading →
