And, yes, the TextAround series is still alive. It’s been built from a scratch in Swift. This series is almost four years old. What’s so special about TextAround 3 that TextAround2 users didn’t see? TextAround 3 lets you flip individual letters horizontally, vertically or horizontally and vertically. Bad news is that another one is being sent to Graphics & Design. I myself have had enough. But what can I say? Shaded is a simple desktop application that lets you create a beautiful logo out of a mere text string. Basically, all you have to do is set a text string to the input field, selecting a font family and selecting a material. And, voila!   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – The Image2Go series is one of my longest-running software applications. It’s now 6 and half years old. Doesn’t it require some makeover since the last major upgrade was made more than three years ago? Well, I submitted a new software title to Mac App Store several minutes. This new software submission is called Image2Go 3.

There are many great graphic software titles out there. Adobe Photoshop? It’s amazing. Adobe Fireworks? I like it. But when it comes to simple tasks, they all fail. They may let you run a macro to quickly process a bunch of files at a time. But how long does it take you to just convert a dozen PNG files into JPEG images? Image2Go 3 is all about similicity. If you have 100 PNG files, which you want to convert into JPEG files, Image2Go 3 won’t prompt you to name a file 100 times. Whether you have 10 files or 100 files, all you have to do is drag and drop them onto a drop box.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – I wanted to release one more desktop application in August. Well, things can always go wrong when you discover a major bug. Anyway, a new software title that I submitted to Mac App Store several minutes ago is called Text 1-2-3D Materials.

Text 1-2-3D Materials is a successor to an existing desktop application called Text 1-2-3D. Text 1-2-3D Materials lets you turn a simple text string into a 3D object with a depth and chamfers. It comes with a built-in library of more than 110 materials (skins) that you can apply to individual text nodes. You can create any number of text nodes under the same scene. You can save the entire scene as an image file to your disk with just a click of a button after setting up a shared folder.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – Although I admit that News isn’t a very popular category compared with Games and Productivity, it’s quite an accomplishment to me that another desktop application of mine, AllNews Desktop, joins the top league in the U.S. market. aClocks Desktop took a top slot soon after I submitted it to Mac App Store at the beginning of this year.
