Changing its name from Unreal Tournament 2007, a sequel of a popular action game from Midway (publisher) and Epic Games (developer) is scheduled for release this year. The game will be available for PCs, PS3 and X360. Whether or not it will be ported to Macs, it’s something that we should look forward to playing in the near future. It looks quite exiciting. GameRanger Updated to 4.6.4
Mac-only online game application GameRanger is updated to 4.6.4. GameRanger’s Univeral application was finally released back in November 28, just several days before MacSoft’s Age of Empires III went on sale. According to GameRanger, this minor update fixes problems that are related to Age of Mythology and Age of Empires III. MacHouse reported before that Age of Mythology players encounter a time-out issue. We are not certain as to whether this update has fixed the time-out problem for Age of Mythology.
Close Combat: First to Fight Updated to 1.0.3
Destineer has released a patch for its action game ‘Close Combat: First to Fight.’ According to Destineer, only Intel Mac machines require this fix.

Close Combat: First to Fight is an action game which is similar to Rainbox Six 3 to some extent. In this game, you control a squad of four marine soldiers to kill terrorists.
The Movies Demo for Mac OS X Released
Just before the last year ended, Feral Interactive released a Mac port of a simulation game, The Movies. And Feral Interactive has also released a demo version of the game, which is available at Macgamefiles. The file size is 800 MB.
The movies is not quite like The Sims’ Superstar but rather a tycoon game. At first, you start off as the head of a Hollywood movie studio. Your job is to hire/fire staff, build facilities and produce movies.
This is a one-year-old game. The PC version was released in November 8, 2005. The overall rate given by Gamespot (www.gamespot.com) is 8.2 out of 10.
