TOKYO (MacHouse) – This month, we’ve developed and released a few pairs of iPad applications, a licensed one accompanied by a Lite version. Today, we’ve released another pair. A new iPad application we submitted to iTunes Connect is TextJunk.

TextJunk is an iPad-only application that lets you manipulate a string of text (input text) or create text out of nothing. When it comes to manipulating input text, TextJunk comes with several commands that you can use just as you do with a desktop application. For example, you can choose ‘Reverse Text’ under Text to reverse the input text string. Or choose ‘Insert Space Between Letters’ to insert 1 or more space letters between letters. You can also use TextJunk to generate random passwords or harvest (extract) e-mail addresses from input text. Or use TextJunk to count the number of letters or words.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Minutes earlier, we introduced Fotogenie. Today, we are also releasing Fotogenie Lite, which is a freeware version of the former.

Fotogenie Lite is an iOS application that lets you use your iPad to create and view simple photo slide shows. It requires that you have access to a desktop computer with iTunes installed so that you can transfer photo files (JPEG, PNG) to the sandbox-protected folder assigned to this application. You can create as many as three picture groups, picture portfolios, out of a list of pictures found in the application folder. If you already have one or more picture portfolios, simply select the one to browse in Step 3. You don’t have to include all pictures in a given picture portfolio. TOKYO (MacHouse) – The long-lasting freezing winter is pretty much over. Hopefully, we will be more productive in developing iOS applications as the temperature gradually rises. Meanwhile, it’s been more than ten days since we released the last pair of iPad applications. Finally, we are able to release another pair of iOS applications. One of the pair to introduce today is called Fotogenie.

Fotogenie is an iOS application that lets you use your iPad to create and view simple photo slide shows. It requires that you have access to a desktop computer with iTunes installed so that you can transfer photo files (JPEG, PNG) to the sandbox-protected folder assigned to this application. You can create any number of groups, picture portfolios, out of a list of pictures found in the application folder. TOKYO (MacHouse) – Today, we are releasing two software titles for iPad. MailYou Lite is a freeware version of MailYou, which we submitted to iTunes Connect just some 20 minutes ago.

MailYou Lite is a mail application that lets you create mail component templates and then compose messages. It’s a lite (reduced) version of MailYou. Let the application extract e-mail address records from Contacts. Create message templates so that you can just select one from a list instead of writing a long message that you might have to later repeat. Let MailYou access the Photos shared library so that you can pick a picture as an attachment. Set a scale rate so that the selected photo will fit the mail window.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – We hate winters. Hopefully, this harsh winter won’t last till the end of the month. Anyway, today, we have released two iPad applications. One is a freeware version of the other. These new software releases are MailYou and MailYou Lite.

We all know that tablet devices are very useful. When it comes to composing a mail message, though, you don’t really want to use an iPad to send a long message. But if you have to… And especially if you have to write the same, long message over and over… MailYou can be your friend.

MailYou is a mail application that lets you create mail component templates and then compose messages. Let the application extract e-mail address records from Contacts. Create e-mail address groups so that you can send the same message to multiple recipients at a time. Create message templates so that you can just select one from a list instead of writing a long message that you might have to later repeat. Insert tags to a message template so that MailYou can replace them with real values (first name, last name, full name, recipient’s address) for the selected individual e-mail recipient address. Let MailYou access the Photos shared library so that you can pick a picture as an attachment. Set a scale rate so that the selected photo will fit the mail window.   Continue reading →
