SophosLabs reports that a hitman phishing scheme goes around. According to its report, an e-mail message goes like the sender of the message has received an assassination order and that he needs a payoff to drop it.

Websense: Phishing Alerts
Websense Security Labs has released a new phishing alert one day after another. Security Labs warned yesterday that ELGA Credit Union customers are receiving bogus e-mail message requesting to provide account information. Today, the security labs warns that Kaw Valley State Bank and Trust customers are receiving an e-mail message with the same content.

ColdFusion (Windows) Security Patch Released
Adobe Systems Incorporated has released a security patch for Windows version of ColdFusion MX 7 that fixes a possible vulnerability. Adobe advises that the current owner update ColdFusion MX 7.0 to 7.0.1 before applying this security patch. The latest version of ColdFusion MX 7 is 7.0.2.
